About Us
Cub Scout Pack 162 is proudly chartered by the Keowee Elementary School PTA in Seneca, SC. As part of the Three Rivers District within the Blue Ridge Council, we provide exciting scouting opportunities for both girls and boys from kindergarten through 5th grade.
While our charter is with the Keowee Elementary PTA, we warmly welcome all cub scouts from various schools. Our Pack 162 includes members from Oconee Christian Academy, Northside Elementary, and even homeschoolers. We embrace cub scouts from surrounding towns such as Walhalla, Westminster, West Union, and Salem.
Our mission is to uphold the BSA vision by nurturing our youth into conscientious and responsible individuals—both boys and girls—through the instillation of lifelong values and the development of ethical character traits, as outlined in the Scout Oath and Law. We strive to create a community-focused environment while ensuring that scouting remains fun and engaging.
To guarantee a safe mentoring experience for our scouts, all our leaders undergo proper training through our sponsoring organization. We also encourage our leaders to participate in regular Scout training events and monthly round tables.
Cub Scout meetings for Pack 162 are held every other Sunday at 2:00 PM during the school year at our scout hut on Golf Drive in Seneca, SC. The scout hut is conveniently located behind the Keowee Ebeneezer fire department, adjacent to Keowee Elementary.
